According to a local, two farmers who were working in the farm in the village of Thitpin Kauk were seriously injured when the PNO militia opened fire.

In the afternoon of July 18th, the PNO militia fired with guns on two farmers working in the farm in Thitpin Kauk village, Pin Laung township, Southern Shan State, seriously injuring them.

“The PNO came near the village and fired a gun. It hit two people who were spraying on the farm. One was hit in the shoulder. The other was hit in the mouth until to the back.” a resident told Kham Sar Ngor.

The two injured people are now receiving medical treatment at Aung Ban military hospital, and one of the injured is in a critical condition.

It is reported that last night, the sounds of gunshots, artillery have been heard throughout the night near the village of Thitpin Kauk and the residents have not fled yet.

It was known that the village of Thitpin Kauk is the place where the residents of Pekon, Mobye, Ban Mauk, Nam Phar Mu village came to flee the war.
